Choose the test that's right for you

I always have tried to convince doctors to give me much smaller doses of drugs. The report was valuable because it gave the reason. My liver clears drugs slowly which allows them to build up to levels that are counterproductive. Just gave factual confirmation of my lived experience. And very helpful for choosing drug categories. Easy process with the exception of my kit getting stalled in transit in Florida. Otherwise a worthwhile expenditure.

I decided to have my DNA checked to get help with my mental health and to better understand how I operate. The main things I was focused on initially for the results was seeing what variants of the mthfr I had along with my COMT to help determine what my body is lacking and how I can improve it by doing more research online. Having things briefly explained in the report summary about why some medications should be avoided and how they would interact with my body based on DNA was very informative. I have zero regrets about the cost because this is information that I can use for the rest of my life and if you look at it as an investment in yourself and your health then it makes the decision easier when trying to juggle it you should spend the money or not. I originally paid for the basic test but after receiving my kit and getting an offer for a discount to upgrade to max rx, it was a no brainer after spending a tiny bit more than what I already paid
